just a few weeks ago we released MOTEL RENO, the first solo record from @oskawald (Chuckamuck, Die Verlierer). With MOTEL RENO, Wald surrenders to boredom and creates a concept album inspired by the absurdist short films „The Weather Diaries“ by filmmaker George Kuchar. Songs that tell of rain, tornadoes and existential boredom. Musically, somewhere between Bill Callahan and Jeffrey Lewis.
